Ever since 5th grade I have been interested in neuroscience and biochemistry, but it was not until January of this year that I found a great enjoyment and love for the field. Some elementary knowledge I acquired in honors biology at my high school got me started, and I have made much further inroads into the subject. The molecular mechanisms and basis of life fascinate me.
